Csopak - Lake Balaton (1920-as évek)

In the 1920s Árpád Basch painted several pictures with a Balaton theme. These works mainly express moods and the painterly element: humid, pastoral landscapes of Lake Balaton, stormy or mirror-like water. In his current painting of Csopak, the landscape and the colours are at dawn, and Basch delicately harmonises the colours.
