Still-life with a flask (1933)

Kántor visited Nagybánya in 1930 and settled in Szentendre the following year. In his early works, strict discipline, constructive order, severe contour lines and monastic simplicity are the primary stylistic features of his works, whether in charcoal, oil or watercolour.
