After the Second World War, Vera Freund participated in several group exhibitions, including the Spring Salon of the Szinyei Society in 1947, where she presented a portrait and a still life. The critics described her as a promising talent. The following year, she took part in the exhibition of Socialist Artists, but she was unable to attend the opening in person, because she moved to Paris.
