Waterfront (1926)

László Kemény's work covers a wide range of genres, but in the diversity of his subjects he treats the representation of colours imbued with white light as a central problem. He found the most captivating solutions to the glowing white light radiating from within in bluish tones in his biblical subjects and female nudes, but as can be seen in his pastel painting now, he also applied it to his early landscapes.
