About

In the 1930s, Olga Hadzsy captured in many of her pictures the entertainment habits and popular sporting activities of the city's inhabitants. Among other things, she painted the Hungarian water polo team that won first place at the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Her works now include tennis players, skiers, beach goers and ice skaters, as shown above.
