Nude (1935)

Wessel made his first public appearance in March 1933 at the Youth Exhibition of the Szinyei Society. In 1938 he worked as a drawing teacher at the Israelite Civic Girls' School in Vác.  Only a few of his paintings are known from the period up to the outbreak of the war.
