About

Alice Endresz spent a lot of time in the area around her hometown, in the Balaton highlands. This is where she liked to work the most. She exhibited several of her watercolour landscapes at the 1931 exhibition of the New Group of the Hungarian Women Artists' Association. Endresz relied little on drawing, and with her light use of watercolour she was able to achieve an almost musical effect in her pictures.
