Biography

He was born in Budapest. From 1907 he studied in Berlin. From 1908, he worked at the Gödöllő art colony, but was also a member of the KÉVE art association. He created graphics, illustrations, ceramics and designs for the carpet weaving workshop in Gödöllő. His art was influenced by Aubrey Beardsley.


In 2012, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) exhibited one of the books he illustrated at the Century of the Child: Growing by Design 1900-2000 exhibition.
