About

Arnold Gara first presented his wide-ranging artistic activities to the public at the Ernst Museum exhibition in December 1922. In the Nyugat, Aladár Bálint wrote: 'In his portraits, on the other hand, he deliberately weighs every colour and every form, and puts his experiences through the filtering and sorting mechanisms of abstraction. He stylizes, builds, reassesses and represses his impressions. His drawings are witty, fresh'.
