Ida Gömöri Raidl (1894 - 1947)
Signature
Signed bottom right: Gömöri Raidl
Her father was also a well-known painter in Brasov. Ida Raidl had her first collective exhibition in Hungary in 1927 at the National Salon. In 1931 and 1941 she had exhibitions at the Tamás Gallery. The material of the latter exhibition was also shown in Milan (with sculptures by Sándor Mikus and watercolours by Gabriella Faber). Contemporary critics usually emphasise Raidl's steady hand, the graphic quality of her works and her confident use of colour.
