Magda Frank became world famous as a sculptor. It was only discovered after the regime change that she had spent her time in the ghetto and the death camps drawing, and that many of her drawings had survived. The drawing 'The Chains' seems to show the double 'identity' of its creator: the naked woman as a man, the combination star as a Jew, stigmatised for his religious affiliation.
