Biography
Imre Kinszki was born in Budapest. He takes his first photographs in the early 1920s. In 1939 Kinszki coedited the album Magyar fényképezés (Hungarian photography). In the 1930s he was a participant in many national and international exhibitions as well as a promotor of prominent photographers such as László Moholy-Nagy, Brassaï, and Albert Renger-Patzsch. He was taken into forced labor in 1943 and died while marching to the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. His works can be found in important collections and museums such as Moma New York, San Francisco Moma, Museum of Fine Art Houston.
