Biography
Miklós Mórotz was a Hungarian painter. He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Budapest. His teacher was Ignác Ujváry. He worked in America in the 1910s. He worked on the restoration of church murals. He returned home in 1917. He ran a free art school in Várpalota. He was an exhibiting artist from 1923. He had a solo exhibition at the Műcsarnok in 1923. He presented his works in group exhibitions at the National Salon, as well as at several exhibitions in Veszprém County and Transdanubia. In 1965 he had a group exhibition at Várpalota.
