Biography
Endre Hollós was a Hungarian painter. He graduated from the School of Applied Arts in 1928, and while still a student he won first prize in the poster competition of the Hungarian River and Sea Shipping Company in 1926 and the Radio in 1928, in 1935 he won a prize in the international Tátrafüred poster competition, and was commissioned in the poster competition of the Anti-Venereal Society. In 1935 he was the winner of the poster competition of the National Catholic Assembly, in 1937 he was the winner of the National Air Defense Command, in 1938 he was the winner of the Eucharistic Congress and the Holy Right Procession. In 1933 he painted the main altarpiece of the Hankau (China) Cathedral, which was given to him by the Franciscans of Budapest, the series of the seven sacraments, educational pictures of church art, educational pictures of the Air Defense Traveling Exhibition and about 100 posters of the OTI. 30 accident prevention posters.
