Biography

Painter, graphic artist, writer. . . In 1909 he met Lajos Kassák, with whom he walked from Stuttgart to Paris. In the 1910s and 1920s he visited almost all the major European cities, his articles and books were published in Paris, Brussels, Berlin, Vienna, Hamburg. In 1927 he settled permanently in Paris and took an active part in the avant-garde movements. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, exhibitions of his works were organized in Paris and Zurich, and after his death in Vienna in 1986.
