Ferenc Sass Brunner

Biography

He studied from Károly Ferenczy and Simon Hollósy. In 1908, he opened a painting school in Nagykanizsa. In 1909, he married his student, Böské Farkas, who after their marriage became known as Erzsébet Sass-Brunner here, and especially after moving to India in 1929, became a famous painter abroad. In 1910, he exhibited at the Művészház, and presented his works at the exhibitions of the National Salon several times.
