György Szántó

Biography

György Szántó  studied architecture, later he worked as costume and scenic designer at Kolozsvár (Cluj). Szántó planned to be a painter but he was injured in WWI on his eyes which partly blined him. Between 1925–1926 edited one of the most important Eastern-European Avant-garde periodicals the “Periszkop”.
