Biography
Noémi Tamás was born in Debrecen in 1948. Between 1968 and 1972 he attended the College of Fine Arts in Budapest as a student of Aurél Bernáth. She also studied in Italy, France and Finland. She was a recipient of the Derkovits scholarship . She has exhibited regularly since 1976. Her first major exhibition was in Helsinki this year. In 1977, she had a show at the Studio Gallery and exhibited in Duisburg the same year. She also participated in group exhibitions in Paris and Hamburg. Her pictures can be found in many collections in the Hungarian National Gallery. Important pieces of her oeuvre are held at the Első Magyar Látványtár in Diszel.
