Johan Hugó's delicate composition, painted in brilliant colours, exudes (spring) freshness and the hidden power of nature. The luxuriant vegetation of the Mecsek, the sunlight filtering through the foliage and the decorative shaping make the work even more akin to Art Nouveau or Post-Impressionism, which could have been created in the second half of the decade.
