Béla Fekete-Nagy

Biography

He graduated from the Budapest University of Technology as a mechanical engineer in 1933. His first master was Zoltán Klie.. He became a member of the Socialist Group of Visual Artists, later joined the European School, and then the Group of Abstract Artists. Because he came into conflict with cultural policy, he gave up his creative work in the visual arts in 1949. He began working again in 1964. . In 1986, a memorial exhibition of his legacy was organized at the Hungarian National Gallery.
