Biography

Ferenc Csont graduated from the Budapest Academy of Fine Arts in 1911, his teacher was Károly Ferenczy. He continued his studies in Nagybánya, Paris, and then in Italy. Between 1924-1936 he worked abroad (Paris, Rome, Stockholm, Berlin). He lived and worked in Balatongyörök from 1937 until his death. He organized his first solo exhibition in 1915 at the National Salon. In 1936, he presented his works in the same place after his return home.
