Biography
Endre Szőllősi studied at the school of Artúr Podolnyi-Volkman, where he was taught by István Szőnyi, Vilmos Aba-Novák and Tibor Gallé. In his youth, he became friends with György Goldmann and then with Dezsó Birman Bokros. He was a member of the Socialist Fine Arts Group and was featured in all of the group's exhibitions. His first solo exhibition was in 1947, and in 1964 he presented his works in a exhibition at the Ernst Museum. The Hungarian National Gallery has several of his works.
