Ferenc Hézső studied at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts between 1957 and 1962; his teachers were Endre Domanovszky and Gyula Pap. From 1962 he worked at the Vásárhelyi Art Colony and then at the Tokaj Art Center. His research interests include classical panel painting, tapestry, fire enamel, ceramics, mosaic, graphics, visual education and pedagogical methods of education.
