About

Jaschik's book cover design was made for Mózes Székely: Zátony, a book about the history of the seceded Hungarians in Transylvania, published in 1930 by Genius Publishing. In the end, Jaschik did not publish the book with this design, presumably because it was too direct (the author of the book was subsequently interrogated several times by the Romanian police), but instead used a weathered, battered, lifeless drawing of a tree on the cover.
